For over 60 years the Bruin has kept a record of the people and events at Catholic High School. Now, unlike 60 years ago, the yearbook is done completely online. The staff ’s hard work resulted in several awards for layouts, photography, and feature stories at the Louisiana Scholastic Press Association Convention at LSU for the 2011 edition entitled, Lagniappe. Students also collected supplies and created Easter baskets for Catholic Charities. With an enthusiasm for all things orange
and black, the Bruin staff continues to step up to the challenge of preserving the school’s legacy.
