Class Of 1968 Reconnects With 50-Year Reunion

Catholic High School honored the classes of 1943, 1948, 1953, 1958 and 1968 at the 50-Year Reunion held on the CHS campus Saturday, May 5, 2018. The class of 1968 began the evening with a Mass at St. Joseph Cathedral celebrated by Reverend Paul Counce. Participating in the Mass were members of the class, Charlie Ford, Jerry Price, Harry Philips, Ralph Domas, Joe Keller and John Gabel.

Following the Mass, honorees gathered at the Catholic High School gymnasium for a social and steak dinner prepared by the CHS Men’s Club. Brother Eldon Crifasi ’39 led the blessing followed by Pledge of Allegiance by Jamie Segar III ’90, director of advancement. Brian W. Hightower ’97, director of alumni relations, served as master of ceremonies. Harry Philips ’68, Charlie Ford ’68 and Andre Fourrier ’68 relived some old memories for the 50-year graduates as part of a video presentation and Ralph Domas ’68, student body president for the class, shared a few of his own.

Commemorative diplomas were presented to the 50-year graduates and special gifts were also given to the members of the 60-, 65-, 70- and 75-year reunion classes.
