Four CHS Seniors Named National Merit Finalists

Four Catholic High School seniors were named National Merit Finalists. National Merit Finalists included Nick Boudreau, Brian DeJean, Sam Harbourt and Grayson Young.

These young men, who demonstrated exemplary academic performance in grades 9-12, were selected through a screening process of entrants by taking the 2004 PSAT/NMSQT.

Approximately 16,000 U.S. students were announced as semifinalists, with 15,000 students advancing to the finalist level. From this group, approximately 8,200 Merit Scholarship winners will be chosen.

Merit Scholars are selected on the basis of their accomplishments, skills and potential for success in rigorous college studies.
