The “Big Orange Wave” Dominates in Competition

The íÍBig Orange Waveíñ cross country team had outstanding performances this past week.
The freshman team completed an undefeated season and the varsity team dominated the Comeaux Invitational in Lafayette.  Both teams placed five runners in the top six places in their runaway victories.

In the Interschool Meet Wednesday your CHS runners placed 12 men in the top 15 places to totally dominate the opposition once again.

Cole Stafford won his sixth consecutive individual title this year in Lafayette while Joseph St. Cyr, Hunter Baudier, Cody Favaro and Brennan McLean finished in 2nd, 4th, 5th and 6th places respectively.  Other scorers were Michael Edmonson (9th) and Keith Aldrich (11th).

In the Interschool Meet, Cole Stafford ran the second fastest time ever run by any athlete at Highland Road Park (14:54 for three miles) while teammates Joseph St. Cyr, Brian Primeaux, Hunter Baudier, Cody Favaro, Dakota Dugas, Tyler Davidson, Keith Aldrich and Brennan McLean all placed in the top twelve.
