CHS Tennis Team Defeated Dutchtown 3-2

The CHS tennis team defeated Dutchtown yesterday 3-2. Singles winners were Preston Aydell and Evans Falgoust, while doubles winners were Robert Johnston and Jeff Noel. The tennis Bears are now 11-0 and face McKinley today after school at Highland Road Park. CHS Track Team Dominated in Grizzly Relays

The CHS track team dominanted in the Grizzly Relays. The Bears swept the three relays along with winning two individual events. Placing in every event, the team outscored the second place team by more than fifty points. Individual winners were Adam Wilcox in the shot put and Marcus Lasseigne in the 110 hurdles. The Catholic High Weightlifting Team won the state title. The CHS Bears won for the 13th time at the US Weightlifting Federation meet. Catholic High School publication Bear Facts II and the school's website received two distinguished awards in The Communicator Awards 2005 Print Media competition.
