Alumni Tailgate Party

Catholic High School alumni will reunite for a Jambalaya Dinner at Olympia Stadium on Friday, September 24, 2004. This homecoming tailgate party will begin at 5:30 p.m. and last until kick-off. At 7 p.m. the Catholic High School Bears will play Tara High for their 2004 homecoming game. The dinner is free for all alumni. 2004 Alumni Taste Fair

The Fifth Annual Catholic High School Taste Fair was held on Sunday, November 14, 2004, in the Catholic High School Gymnasium. Jeff Fortenberry '78 Elected to United States Congress

On November 4, in one of the most nationally publicized congressional elections, Jeff Fortenberry '78 was elected to the United States Congress in Nebraska. Fortenberry began thinking of a career in politics early in life while studying in his Civics class, one of his favorite subjects at Catholic High School. This initial fascination and interest was an early indicator of his career in politics. Brother Eldon 5K Run Set For February 19 on Campus

All alumni, friends, family, kids, and area runners are invited to participate in the annual Brother Eldon 5K Run & One Mile Run/Walk/Jog on Saturday, February 19, 2005 benefiting the Brother Eldon Crifasi, SC '39 Endowed Scholarship. Jonathan Vignes '07 received the '2004 Where Service Matters' award Thursday, January 13, 2005 at a luncheon hosted by Hibernia Bank, Volunteer Baton Rouge! and WAFB-TV. Dr. Stewart Gordon '82 Devotes Career To Helping Children

Dr. Stewart Gordon '82, chief of pediatrics at LSU Health Sciences Center/Earl K. Long Medical Center, has dedicated his medical practice to helping children with obesity and abuse and to educating parents on early child development. In addition to enhancing pediatric medical education at Earl K. Long Medical Center, Gordon has been instrumental in instituting many child advocacy programs.
