CHS Celebrates Catholic Schools Week

Compassion is the deep awareness of the suffering of another joined with the desire to relieve that suffering. The theme of Catholic School’s Week represents compassion as one of the core values Catholic education strives to inspire and sustain in every student, teacher and school administrator.

Students at Catholic High School have had many opportunities this year to show compassion for their classmates as well as the community. From sharing their campus to students displaced by Hurricane Katrina to volunteering their time to prepare lunches for evacuees to providing toys, coats and food for the needy, Catholic High students have shown compassion for all of those in need of assistance.
