CHS Cheerleaders Participate in UCA Cheer Camp
The CHS cheerleaders participated in the Universal Cheerleaders Association cheer camp on July 27 and 28 at Catholic High School. They worked on cheers and stunts while improving technique and working as a team. Also during camp, the squad members participated in writing letters to help support St. Jude Research Children’s Hospital, UCA’s philanthropy. The squad received highest honors, earning superior ratings, in both cheer and extreme routine.
Senior Bailey Landry received the Leadership Award. Senior Cole Catherine Dunnam received the “Smiles for Miles” award for spirit. Junior Henry Pere received the Best Attitude Award. Senior Emily Moore received the Captain Award. Junior Renard Woodard received the Best All-Around Award.
