CHS Swim Teams Have Strong Showing Over The Weekend

The Baby Bears, the CHS 8th grade swim team, finished third in the finals of the Division III Middle School Championship. The Baby Bears won seven out of eight events contested at the meet.

The CHS varsity swim team moved to 5-0 on the season by winning the Lafayette High School Open on Saturday, October 26, in Lafayette. Despite blustery conditions, the Bears won six out of eight events in which they competed.

The Bears will be back in action this Saturday and Sunday at Crawfish Aquatics in Baton Rouge, as they go for their 30th consecutive Baton Rouge City Championship. Prelims are set for 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, and finals will start at 1:15 p.m. on Sunday.
