Admissions Placement Testing Date Change

Dear Parents and Students,

Thank you once again for applying to Catholic High School.  The placement test for all applicants was originally scheduled for this Saturday, December 5, but because Catholic High will be playing in the championship football game at the Superdome in New Orleans this Friday night, we are moving the placement test to the next Saturday, December 12 from 8:00 í 11:15.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We expect a large number of faculty, staff, and students scheduled to take the placement test, to attend the late night game. We doní´t want everyone to rush back early Saturday morning, or have tired students take the test, so moving the test to December 12th is our best option.  We want to ensure that all students taking the placement test have a positive experience. We appreciate your willingness to adjust to our revised schedule.  Everyone at Catholic High School is excited about our football Bears playing for the state championship.  Go Bears!!

Testing Details:
Students who select Catholic High as “school of first choice” must take the Placement Test at CHS.  We will begin at 8:00 a.m. and finish about 11:15 a.m. for all applicants.  All students taking the Placement Test must be at Catholic High no later than 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 12, 2015.  Students are asked to wear comfortable and appropriate attire and to bring two #2 pencils, and calculators.  We will provide snacks for the students during a break.
Catholic High School offers extended testing time for qualified applicants.  Persons requesting extended time are asked to contact Mr. Chris Redden in the guidance office.  Catholic High School neither requires nor supports local íÍplacement testíñ preparation courses.
