Alumni Association Hosts Prayer Breakfast
Catholic High School hosted its annual Alumni Prayer and Fellowship Breakfast on Saturday, January 30, 2010, from 8:30 a.m. until 10 a.m. in the CHS Union. Guests included CHS alumni, wives, guests, local brothers who are members of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart and members of the Catholic High faculty and staff.
This yearí´s speaker was Father Michael Alello í´98, pastor of St. Philomena Catholic Church in Labadieville.
Co-chairmen for this yearí´s event were Michael Acaldo and Kenneth Litz Jr., members of the Alumni Association Board of Directors. Acaldo and Litz were assisted by Glen Randow, Director of Alumni Relations and Barbara Camp, Alumni Events Coordinator.
íÍThis annual event is one which allows each attendee to reflect inwardly and to focus on what is truly important in life. The reflection is done in the company of fellow graduates and friends of Catholic High School which helps make the experience even more fulfilling,” commented Litz, co-chairman of the Prayer Breakfast.
íÍAll those in attendance at the Annual Alumni Prayer Breakfast were blessed to hear an inspirational and uplifting message from Father Michael Alello. Father Michael exemplifies the CHS mission and philosophy of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart,íñ added Acaldo, co-chairman of the Prayer Breakfast.
Breakfast was provided by the Catholic High School kitchen staff under the direction of Mrs. Christy Olinde, Food Service Director.
