Alumnus Colin Bone ’16 Competes in Olympic Swimming Trials

CHS graduate Colin Bone ’16 finished 31st out of 105 swimmers in the 200-meter freestyle
at the U.S. Olympic swimming trials in Omaha, Nebraska, on Monday, June 27. Bone,
an Auburn signee, won the first preliminary heat with a time of 1:49.74.

Bone is the only high school-aged competitor from Louisiana to qualify for the Olympic
swimming trials and will compete again on Wednesday, June 29, in the 100-meter freestyle
preliminary heats.
