Athletes Honored at Spring Sports Convocation

Catholic High School honored members of the golf, lacrosse, tennis, and track and field at the Spring Sports Convocation on Wednesday, May 10, 2017. Athletes received varsity letterman certificates, and special awards were presented in each sport.

Award recipients in track and field were Kam Cummings, Outstanding Trackman; Zach Tom, Outstanding Fieldman; Collin Hedges, Outstanding Distance Man (The Brett Devall Memorial Award); and Jacob Thornton, Coach’s Award.

Awards in lacrosse went to Holden David, Outstanding Offensive Player; Alex Perrodin, Outstanding Defensive Player; Beau Abadie, Most Valuable Player; and Clayton Rives, Coach’s Award.

Receiving awards in tennis were Nick Watson, Most Valuable Player; and Andrew Bienvenu, Coach’s Award.

Awards in golf went to Carson Caruso, Most Valuable Player; and D.J. Johnson, Coach’s Award.

Baseball players will be recognized on Tuesday, May 16, after the conclusion of the baseball season.
