Baseball Bears Come From Behind In Marathon Win
It took four plus hours and twelve innings on Tuesday night, but the 7-6 extra inning victory was well worth the wait for the Catholic High Bears. The Bears entered the seventh and final frame down 6-1 to the visiting Central Wildcats. The orange and black rallied for five runs in the bottom of the last to force extra innings and score the winning run on a walk off bases loaded single by Brennan Lambert. The come from behind win upped the Bears’ record to 8-3 on the season. The Wildcats are the defending Class 5A state champions.
