Brady Grenfell Awarded 42nd Annual Don Cook Memorial Award

Catholic High School Swim Team Member Brady Grenfell, freshman, was awarded the 42nd Annual Don Cook Memorial award.  This award is given annually to the male swimmer from the Greater Baton Rouge area and is based upon the total of the most points scored in the Louisiana State Short Course and Long Course Championship Meets.  Brady scored a combined total of 219 points in the two meets.

The Don Cook Memorial Award was established in 1969 in memory of Donald Cook, U.S.M.C., who was killed in action in Viet Nam in May 1969.  He was a graduate of Catholic High School and was a swimmer during his tenure at CHS.  He was inducted posthumously into the CHS Hall of Fame after his death.
