Catholic High Educators Attend Brothers of the Sacred Heart Leadership Conference
Fourteen educators from Catholic High attended the tri-Province Leadership Assembly at St. Stanislaus in Bay St. Louis, Miss. from Wednesday, July 17 through Sunday, July 21.
Educators from 11 Brothers of the Sacred Heart schools from throughout the United States and England also attended the conference. The theme of the conference was Prophetic Leadership in the Charism: A Common Mission for the United States Province. Educators attended sessions that focused on the unification of the three Brothers of the Sacred Heart provinces in the United States and on applying the charism of the Brothers within the mission of each school. Educators also had the opportunity to meet and collaborate in small group sessions with educators from others schools.
íÍThe conference was of great benefit to everyone who attended,íñ said CHS Principal Lisa Harvey. íÍNot only did we have the opportunity to hear from the Superior General, Brother Jose Ignacio, SC and Brother Ray Hetu, SC, a member of the General Council in Rome, but we had the valuable experience of meeting and collaborating with educators from other schools. The entire conference was an inspiration and reaffirmed our commitment to the mission and charism of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart.íñ

Members of the CHS faculty also in attendance were Scott Losavio í´95, Anthony Zehyoue, Fiona Conroy, Jared Cavalier, Tommy Prochaska ’92, Doug Logsdon ’02, Brother Xavier Werneth, SC; and Brother Ray Hebert, SC.
