Catholic High School Auction a Huge Success
The Catholic High School Auction, presented by the Mothersí´ Club, held on Saturday, March 24 at the Louisiana State Museum, was a huge success. Over 300 guests enjoyed a night of music, laughter, great food, cocktails and friendly bidding on wonderful items.
The crowd enjoyed the live jazz music of The Buddy Boudreaux Band on the candle lit plaza in the shadow of the State Capital. Inside, the mood was festive while guests bid on over 400 Silent Auction items and sampled the delicious food and desserts provided by Heirloom Cuisine and Melanie McRoberts, respectively.
Master of Ceremonies, Kent Gonsoulin, entertained the crowd and assisted the auctioneer, Murray Conque, during the Live Auction.
During a break in the Live Auction, guests lifted their glasses with a champagne toast to the Mothersí´ Club. The lucky winner of the beautiful sapphire and diamond necklace designed and donated by Jules Madere Creative Jewelers was Carmel Mask. The Champagne was provided by Glazerí´s Distributors.
To end this fabulous evening, Robert Patriquin í´67 was the lucky winner of the choice of a 2012 Toyota Camry or a 3 yr/36,000 mile lease on a 2012 Lexus RX, provided by Price LeBlanc Toyota Lexus. Ray Jefferson í´12 sold the winning ticket.
