Catholic High School Students Rank In District Literary Rally
Catholic High School students placed in District Rally Saturday, March 12, at Southeastern Louisiana University.
Those placing first place were Alexander Maris, Algebra I; Samuel Harbourt, American history; Brett Lemoine, business computer application; John Love, calculus; Brian Lumpkins, chemistry; Kyle Morgan, computer science; James Gilbert, English I; Kevin Hanegan, English IV; Michael Johnson, free enterprise; William Dixon, geometry; Joseph Chatelain, physics; Jordan Rourke, Spanish I; Aaron Caffarel, Spanish II; and Alexander Demas, world history.
Second place participants were Douglas Pittman, Accounting I; Maverick LeBlanc, Advanced Math I; Scott Sulik, Advanced Math II; William Lee, Algebra II; Derrick Philippe, computer science; Clark Coss_, English IV; Kyle Devillier, free enterprise; James Parks, Spanish I; and Jeremiah Mouton, Spanish II.
Those placing third place were Michael Garitty, Accounting I; Travis Meyer, Advanced Math I; Andrew Stewart, Algebra I; Derek Arbour, art exhibit, category 2; and Robert DiMario, environmental science.
Forth place participants were Ethan Greenblatt, Biology I; Wayne Dugas, calculus; Nicholas Boudreau, English III; Luis Alexander, geometry; and Michael Stephens, Spanish III.
Fifth place participants were Austin Beard, Advanced Math II; Nicholas Comeaux, business computer application; Chad Gremillion, English I; and Grayson Young, English III.
Twenty-two CHS students qualified for State Literary Rally to be held in April based on their performance at District Rally.
