Catholic High Wins Cross Country Meet

Catholic High edged Brother Martin by one point to win the boys division of the St Joseph’s Academy Cross Country Invitational at Highland Park on October 4. More than 1500 runners participated in the meet.

Catholic’s Philip Primeaux captured first place and finished with a time of 15:33. Other top finishers for the Bears included Barrett Miller, Ben Brown and Seth Maggio.

Catholic Hig finished with 87 points to win the 49-team boys division ahead of defending Class 5A state chamption Brother Martin of New Orleans.

The Catholic High School Invitational will be held on Saturday, October 11, at Highland Road.
