Christian King To Play Collegiate Football

Christian King has committed to play college football.  King will play at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee.

King played defensive tackle for the Bears.  He was All District 5-5A, and All-Metro second team.  He will play defensive tackle at Rhodes. 

íÍI was impressed with the strong academic program along with the opportunity to play football at Rhodes,íñ commented King.

In addition to a football commitment, King received an academic scholarship to Rhodes. 
He also received recognition as one of the strongest bears in the weightlifting program and was a varsity football player for three years. 

King will major in Pre-Med.  He is the son of Eddie and Dwana King. 

Catholic High students have signed to play collegiate football for the last 22 consecutive years.  Since 1988, the school has seen 106 players have the opportunity to play collegiate football.
