CHS Alums Return to Campus for Visit
During the month of March, while on spring break, several CHS alumni returned to campus to visit former teachers. Michael Alch ’04 was on campus to catch up with former teachers and CHS Principal Brother Barry Landry, SC. Alch will graduate from West Point in May 2008. While at CHS, he served as sports editor of the Bearly Published, vice president of the Beta Club, a student minister, member of the Honor Board, baseball player and was a CHS Man of the Year.
Also visiting on campus was Kendrick Shanklin ’98. Shanklin is living in Dallas, TX and is teaching technical application at Faith Family Academy. In addition, he is pursuing an MBA at Texas A&M ‘ Commerce. While at CHS, Kendrick was the running back for the Bears and signed to play at the University of Kentucky on a football scholarship. He started at centerfield on the baseball team for CHS and ran track all four years here. He graduated from Grambling State University with a BS in Computer Information Systems.
