CHS Announces 2013 Homecoming Court

The CHS 2013 Homecoming court includes seven seniors from St. Josephí´s Academy, Madeline Elliott Abadie, Katherine Claire Babin, Kendall Elise Gaudin, Mallory Kathryn Gill, Victoria Anne Pipes, Elizabeth Jane Sherman and Peyton Elizabeth Thompson.

  Abadie is the daughter of Amy and Creighton Abadie í´87, and she is a graduate of St. George School.  She is a member of the Beta Club, National Honor Society, and Liturgy Committee. Abadie also serves as a Student Minister, a SJA Ambassador, a member of the Steering Committee and one of the Co-Presidents of the Science Club. 
  Babin is the daughter of Paige and Kevin Babin, and she is a graduate of St. George School. She is a member of the Beta Club, NHS, Mu Alpha Theta, French Club, Science Club, History Club and the Liturgy Committee.  She also serves as a Student Minister, a SJA Ambassador and is one of the captains of the CHS Bruinettes.

 
Gaudin is the daughter of Anne and Steve Gaudin í´83, and she is a graduate of St. Thomas More School. She is a member of the SJA Ambassadors, National Honor Society, and Mu Alpha Theta. Gaudin has been a staff member of the Student Prints for two years and serves as the president of the French Club.  She is a four-year member of the Catholic High Bruinettes.

 
Gill is the daughter of Maria and Richard Gill, and she is a graduate of St. Thomas More School. She is a member of the Spanish Club, Respect Life, I-Care Club, Science Club and NHS.  Gill serves as a student minister, as the historian of the Art Club, Vice President of the Liturgy Committee and is on the steering committee for the Ambassadors.

 
Pipes is the daughter of Stephanie Babb and Randy Pipes, and she is a graduate of St. Aloysius School. She is a member of the National Honor Society, Beta Club, Science Club, and the Liturgy Committee.  Pipes serves as a Student Minister, an Ambassador and is a member of the Student Council. She served as the historian of the SJA Spanish Club last year.
 

Sherman is the daughter of Jane and Stephen Sherman, and is a graduate of St. Aloysius School. She is a member of the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, the Liturgy Committee and the Science Club. Sherman is also involved at St. Josephí´s as a Student Minister, a SJA Ambassador and as a member of the Catholic High Bruinettes.

 
Thompson is the daughter of Peggy and Patrick Thompson, and she is a graduate of St. George School. She is involved at SJA in the Beta Club, NHS, Science Club, and Respect Life Club. Thompson also serves on the Liturgy Committee, is a SJA Ambassador, a member of the SJA Tennis Team, a Student Minister and a member of the SJA Student Council.

All seven members of the CHS Homecoming court have received the SJA Service Award for the past three years. The queen will be crowned during the CHS Homecoming Game on Friday, October 4 at Olympia Stadium.
