CHS Announces 2016 Homecoming Court

The six seniors from St. JosephÕs Academy presented on the 2016 Catholic High School Homecoming Court are Suzanne-Grace Barone, Alyssa Bellelo, Allie Deranger, Claire Gonsoulin, Madison Hasenkampf and Emma Woodruff.

Miss Suzanne-Grace Barone, daughter of Guy and Jeanne Barone, is a graduate of St. Thomas More Catholic School. As a senior, Barone is a member of Beta Club, Choir, CHS Cheerleading squad, Habitat for Humanity, Liturgy Choir, Liturgy Committee, Mu Alpha Theta, Respect Life, SJA Ambassadors, Student Ministry and Youth Legislature.

Miss Alyssa Danielle Bellelo, daughter of Jeff and Michaelyn Bellelo, is a graduate of St. Aloysius Catholic School. As a senior, Bellelo is a member of Beta Club, Choir (secretary), Creative Writing Club, Drama Club, Liturgy Choir, Liturgy Committee, National Honor Society, Science Club, SJA Ambassadors (steering committee), Student Council, Student Ministry and THRIVE.

Miss Allie Dabadie Deranger, daughter of Scott and Toni Deranger, is a graduate of St. Jude the Apostle Catholic School. As a senior, Deranger is a member of Beta Club, Liturgy Committee, Mu Alpha Theta, National Honor Society, Science Club, SJA Ambassadors (steering committee), Student Council (District 3 secretary) and Student Ministry.

Miss Claire Elizabeth Gonsoulin, daughter of Kent and Courtney Gonsoulin, is a graduate of St. Aloysius Catholic School. As a senior, Gonsoulin is a member of Beta Club, Choir, Drama Club, Liturgy Choir, Liturgy Committee, Science Club, SJA Ambassadors, Student Council, Student Ministry and Track and Field.

Miss Madison Ann Hasenkampf, daughter of Jeffrey and Stephanie Hasenkampf, is a graduate of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic School. As a senior, Hasenkampf is a member of Beta Club, Choir, Key Club, Literary Ladies Society, Liturgy Choir, Liturgy Committee, Mu Alpha Theta, National Honor Society, Photography/Media Club, Respect Life, SJA Ambassadors, Spanish Club, Student Council (SB vice president) and Student Ministry.

Miss Emma Grace Woodruff, daughter of Michael Woodruff and Donna Perreault, is a graduate of St. Aloysius Catholic School. As a senior, Woodruff is a member of Choir, Historical and Geographical Society, Latin Club (president), Literary Ladies Society, Liturgy Choir, Liturgy Committee, Mu Alpha Theta, National Honor Society, SJA Ambassadors (steering committee), Speech and Debate (captain), Student Council and Youth Legislature.

Criteria for selection was rooted in academic achievement, extracurricular involvement, service to school and community, and character.   Voting for the 2016 Queen will take place Thursday, September 29 and her identity will be revealed Friday evening during the BearsÕ football game at halftime against Teurlings Catholic.
