CHS Class of 2020 Honored With Special Events

The Catholic High School Class of 2020 was honored over the weekend with two very special events. On Saturday, May 16, 2020, members of the CHS faculty and staff personally delivered CHS diplomas and individual awards to each member of the Class of 2020. Later that afternoon, a virtual graduation ceremony was streamed on the Bruin Broadcast Network (BBN), the student-run streaming platform, Facebook Live, and broadcast on local television. The ceremony included a Mass celebrated by Father Michel J. Alello ’98 and concelebrant, CHS faculty member, Brother Ray Hebert, SC.

The program also featured remarks by the CHS Class of 2020 Valedictorian, Nicholas Michael Fanguy, and Salutatorian and Outstanding Graduate, Daniel Joseph Barfield.

In addition, a special site was created to honor the Class of 2020 with photos of the various events and notes of congratulations from faculty and staff. Each senior was also asked to submit a Senior Legacy Project, highlighting his experiences at CHS.
