CHS Cross Country Team Takes Metro Championship
The íÍBig Orange Waveíñ took home the Metro Cross-Country Championship on Monday, Nov. 11. The impressive performance marked the ninth time that the Wave has won the Metro title in the last ten years.
Catholic put three runners in the top eight and tallied 43 points to win its second straight boys title of the season. íÍThe coaching staff and team members would like to thank all of the parents, faculty and students who came out to support the team,íñ said head coach Pete Boudreaux í´59.
Leading scorers for the team over the three mile course were Jeffrey Kelley, 2nd place-15:34; Pierce Hill, 3rd place-15:38; David Toups, 8th place-16:19; Brandt Green, 14th place-16:35; and Parker Caulfield, 19th place-16:47. Strong performances were also reported by Michael Tramonte, 19th place-16:50; and David Aguillard, 21st place- 16:53.
