CHS Crowns 2016 Homecoming Queen

On a beautiful Friday night at Olympia Stadium, Catholic High School capped off its Homecoming week with the presentation of the 2016 Court and announcement of the Queen, Alyssa Danielle Bellelo. Miss Bellelo is the daughter of Jeff and Michaelyn Bellelo and is a graduate of St. Aloysius Catholic School.

During halftime of the game against Teurlings Catholic, the CHS Band and Bruinettes kicked off the celebration with their show entitled ÒThe Summit,Ó followed by an entertaining rendition of Elle KingÕs ÒExÕs and OhÕs.Ó

After the band finished their performance, the Homecoming Court comprised of six SJA seniors was presented. Along with Miss Bellelo, Catholic High School honored:

Miss Suzanne-Grace Barone, daughter of Guy and Jeanne Barone, a graduate of St. Thomas More Catholic School

Miss Allie Dabadie Deranger, daughter of Scott and Toni Deranger, a graduate of St. Jude the Apostle Catholic School

Miss Claire Elizabeth Gonsoulin, daughter of Kent and Courtney Gonsoulin, a graduate of St. Aloysius Catholic School

Miss Madison Ann Hasenkampf, daughter of Jeffrey and Stephanie Hasenkampf, a graduate of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic School

Miss Emma Grace Woodruff, daughter of Michael Woodruff and Donna Perreault, a graduate of St. Aloysius Catholic School

The Homecoming festivities are sponsored by the CHS Student Council, and the eveningÕs presentation was the culmination of a week of food, games, and fellowship for the student body. The Student Council moderators are Fiona Conroy and Drew Losavio. 

The Homecoming dance will be held at CHS on Saturday, October 8th in the gym. This yearÕs theme is ÒLouisiana Saturday Night.Ó
