CHS Faculty Member, Student and Alum Perform in Star Wars: In Concert

A Catholic High faculty member, student and alum were invited to sing with the Baton Rouge Symphony Chorus in the Star Wars: In Concert performance with Anthony Daniels, who played C3PO in all of the Star Wars movies,  and the Boston Pops Orchestra at the Baton Rouge River Center Wednesday, May 19.  CHS Chorus Director Stephen Galliano, CHS Junior Kevin Ward and CHS Alum Davis Hotard ’89 participated with the 60-member chorus.

The chorus members arrived at the Rivercenter early to rehearse with the orchestra.  Anthony Daniels, came out to greet the choir prior to the concert.  Daniels served as narrator during the concert as a movie screen showcased scenes from all of the movies while the choir and orchestra performed.

“It was an exciting experience to sing with such a highly acclaimed orchestra and work with Anthony Daniels,” stated Galliano.
