CHS Golf Team Claims State Title and Sets State Record

The Catholic High Golf Team won the state title on Tuesday for the first time in five years. The team also set a state record with a two-day score of 577 at the Louisiana High School Athletic Association Division I-Class 5A Boys State Golf Tournament.

Two golfers, seniors Greg Berthelot of Tommy Garitty, placed in the top five as the Bears finished 15 strokes ahead of the next closest team, Mandeville at 592.
