CHS History Students Travel to the National WWII Museum
Catholic High juniors and seniors in Honors and AP World and American History classes traveled to the National WWII Museum in New Orleans on Tuesday, February 19. Students took a guided tour through the museum and watched the video Beyond All Boundaries, a 4-D movie that tells of the journey through WWII. They also had the opportunity to tour the newly opened US Freedom Pavilion, The Boeing Center. While there, they also had the unique opportunity to talk to WWII veterans who volunteer their time to tell their stories to visitors of the museum.
