CHS Inducts Michael A. Nola ’62 And Jeffrey D. Nola ’94 Into Hall Of Fame
Catholic High School welcomed father and son, Michael A. ÒMikeÓ Nola Õ62 and the late Jeffrey D. ÒJeffÓ Nola Õ94, into the CHS Hall of Fame on Thursday, Dec. 1. The CHS Hall of Fame Induction and Thirty-Second Annual Founders Banquet was held at the Hilton Baton Rouge Capitol Center in downtown Baton Rouge. To read more about Mike and Jeff Nola, click here.
CHS also honored the new individuals who have attained the status as a CHS Perpetual Founder as of June 30, 2016. They are men and women who have donated $100,000 or more to Catholic High School during their lifetime. Those recognized as a Perpetual Founder were Mr. and Mrs. Thomas A. Barfield Jr. Õ82, Baton Rouge State Fair Foundation, Mr. and Mrs. Paul M. Hebert Jr. Õ64, the estate of Dr. Claude J. Patin, Mrs. Camilla R. Pugh, and Mr. John G. Turner Õ78 and Mr. Jerry Fischer.
Musical entertainment was provided by pianist Michael McDowell Õ13. Composer and virtuoso, McDowell delighted guests with his unique style of Òplaying on the edgeÓ and seasonal improvisations.
