CHS Men’s Club Answers Call…Again

Catholic High School’s Men’s Club answered the call once again to reach out to those in need. Last weekend, members cooked several hundred hamburgers to help feed community volunteers and displaced families. This week, they did it again! Working in conjunction with St. Vincent de Paul, members of the Men’s Club cooked 600 of their world famous hamburgers for flood victims in Ascension Parish. The meals were for families in St. Joseph (French Settlement) and St. Mark parishes.

Special thanks to Michael Acaldo ’85, Yvonne Bienvenu and Catherine Lewis for their assistance in helping make this opportunity possible. This collaborative effort is a wonderful example and application of a foundational teaching of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart.
