CHS Men’s Club Guys’ Night Out – An Evening Of Food And Fellowship

The Catholic High School Men’s Club hosted its second Guys’ Night Out on Thursday, March 8, 2018. The evening was an opportunity for current members, dads of current and former students, alumni and other friends of the school to come to together for fellowship and support of the mission and young men of Catholic High School.

Over 100 guests enjoyed an evening of food and fellowship. The evening began with a social hour, where old friends reconnected and newcomers had the opportunity to meet and mingle with current members. In addition to good company, guests enjoyed a wonderful dinner of smoked pork roast, dirty rice and cole slaw. The guest speaker for the evening was East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff Sid Gautreaux. Gautreaux gave an overview of the use of technology in law enforcement, and some of the challenges his department faced in the aftermath of the devestating floods of 2016. Congressman Garret Graves ’90 was also on hand to show his support and praise Gautreaux and his officers for their work and dedication.

The Men’s Club Guys’ Night Out event is just one of several events the Men’s Club sponsors throughout the year. For more information on upcoming events or how you can become a member and help support the mission of Catholic High School, click here.
