CHS Men’s Club Hosts 81st Annual Stag Barbecue

On Saturday, January 14, 2017, the CHS MenÕs Club hosted its 81st annual Stag Barbecue fundraiser. The event was originally scheduled for August 27, 2016, but was postponed due to the catastrophic flooding experienced in Baton Rouge and surrounding areas.

Nearly 1,000 guests enjoyed a perfect fall-like evening as they gathered to reconnect with old friends and feast on an incredible steak dinner with all the fixinÕs. From faculty and staff, to parents, alumni and friends of the school, everyone enjoyed a wonderful evening of fellowship and great food. All proceeds from the event will be used to help support the mission and programs at Catholic High School. “The CHS Men’s Club reinforces and embodies the phrase, ‘It’s More than 4.’ For alumni, parents and friends of CHS, the Men’s Club is committed to supporting the mission of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart,” said Darrell Ourso, current CHS Men’s Club president.

DonÕt worry, if you missed this yearÕs barbecue you can catch Stag Barbecue #82 in the fall of 2017.

The Men’s Club has a long tradition of service to the Catholic High School community. The purpose of the club is to support the mission and young men of Catholic High School, and to promote camaraderie among adult males who are interested in the betterment of the school.
