CHS Recognized Athletes at Spring Sports Convocation

Catholic High School recognized athletes at its Spring Sports Convocation on May 3 in the Catholic High Gymnasium. Students were recognized for their participation in baseball, bowling, golf, tennis and track.

Awards given to baseball team members were Michael Billings, highest batting average; Cory Deno, ‘Golden Glove’ award; John Morgan, ‘110 Percent’ award (The Brent Pecue Memorial Award); and Brandon Vincent, student athlete award (The Clyde Didier Memorial Award).
Jason Giamanco received the Outstanding Bowling Award; Ben Adams was honored as the Most Valuable Golfer; and Cody Loup was named Most Valuable Tennis Player.

Awards given to track team members were Jarrad Pitcher, outstanding trackman; David LeBlanc, outstanding fieldman; Daniel Gascon, outstanding distance man (The Brett Devall Memorial Award); and Alex Baronich, coach’s award.
