CHS Recognizes Tim Barfield ’82 as Distinguished Graduate

Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Baton Rouge honored their Distinguished Graduates at an Awards Dinner January 27, 2014 at the Renaissance Hotel.

CHS recognized Tim Barfield í´82 as its 2014 Distinguished Graduate. Barfield serves on the Catholic High Foundation Board and is an active volunteer for CHS. Professionally, he serves as the Secretary of the Louisiana Department of Revenue and leads efforts to reform Louisianaí´s tax system. His experience demonstrates his commitment to improving opportunities within education and the workforce.

Catholic High graduates also honored as Distinguished Graduates of their Catholic elementary schools included Stephen Toups í´84, Our Lady of Mercy; Archie Kranske í´82, Sacred Heart of Jesus; Kenneth Riche í´88, St. George; and Birnie Dupuy í´81, St. Thomas More.
