CHS Senior Daniel Woodruff wins 2018 Don Cook Memorial Award

Our very own CHS Senior, Daniel Woodruff won the 2018 Don Cook Memorial Award. It is the 3rd time he has won the award (2014, 2016). The award is given annually to the Baton Rouge male and female swimmers who score the most points at Short Course State championships in March and Long Course State Championships in July. Daniel scored more points at those 2 meets than any other male swimmer in Baton Rouge. This is a tremendous honor. Great job Daniel!

Daniel and the CHS swim team will next be in action on Friday September 14 at the Gulf South Invitational hosted by St. Paul’s(Mobile) at the Fredericka Evans Cultural Center on the campus of Bishop St. University. The Bears will have good competition from the Alabama 4a and 6a state championship teams as well as several teams from Florida and Mississippi. Come out and show your support for our award winning Bears!
