CHS Senior Earns Rank of Eagle Scout

Catholic High senior, Roman Bernardo Corripio, a member of Troop 203, Istrouma Area Council, Sewell-Eagle District, has achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. Roman was recognized for his accomplishments at an Eagle Court of Honor at St. Patrick Catholic Church on January 10, 2016.
 
To achieve this rank, a scout must process through six ranks, earn a minimum of 21 merit badges, serve in several leadership positions within his troop, and provide service to the community. In addition, a scout must plan, develop and give leadership to a service project for a religious or community organization.
 
Roman’s Eagle project consisted of building a set of bleachers for the softball field at St. Andrews United Methodist Church.
