CHS Seniors to Reflect During Overnight Retreat
Catholic High School seniors will participate in an overnight retreat on Sunday, October 12 and Monday, October 13. Seniors will divide up into smaller groups and will travel to Rosaryville Spirit Life Center, Episcopal Retreat Center, Feliciana Retreat Center and Louisiana Methodist Conference Center.
Sunday morning, a Mass said by Brother Ray Hebert will begin at 9:30 a.m. All family members of CHS seniors are invited to celebrate Eucharist before seniors leave on retreat.
"Senior Retreat provides our students with a wonderful opportunity to break away from their normal routine and focus on the important relationships in their lives. Students usually leave senior retreat with a renewed sense of how much they are loved by God, their family, their friends, and their teachers," commented CHS Campus Minister Jeff Nola ’94.
Seniors will return to the CHS Union on Monday, October 13 around 7 ‘ 7:30 p.m. Parents are invited to meet in the Union for light refreshments to welcome the seniors home from retreat.
Leslie Falgoust will coordinate the food and drink for the parents and seniors. If you are willing and able to assist, please contact her at 757-9884 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please pray for the success of the senior retreat.
