CHS Soccer Remains Undefeated With Big Win Over Holy Cross

The CHS soccer team went into the match against 5-1-1 Holy Cross with a 5-0-1 record, and looking to keep a tick mark out of the loss column. After forty minutes of play, the Bears did just that, beating the Tigers from the New Orleans Catholic League 2-0 on the strength of two Daniel Occupati goals. It was a huge victory over a Holy Cross team that entered the contest as the #1 ranked team in Division II.

With the win, the Bears solidified its #2 ranking in Division I, moving to 6-0-1 on the young season. They will return to action after Christmas on December 29th, at 5A power Acadiana.
