CHS Sophomore Recognized by FBI Citizen’s Academy as Outstanding Youth

CHS sophomore Chase Brouillette was recognized by the New Orleans division of the FBI Citizení´s Academy Alumni Association with the 2013 Outstanding Youth Award. He was presented the award by the organizationí´s National Director and NOLA President Emeritus Kathie Wylie at a ceremony held on Wednesday, November 6.

Brouillette was unanimously chosen for this honor in recognition of his work with Charlieí´s Place and his achievement of the Eagle Scout rank this past summer. The committee also noted Broullietteí´s community outreach through ARCí´s Metro Sheltered Workshop, Greater Baton Rouge Hunger Walk, Keep Baton Rouge Beautiful, Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank, Leukemia and Lymphoma Association and Special Tuesdays.

Brouillette is an honor student at CHS as well as a member of Student Council, treasurer of the French Club and a member of the swim team. He is an altar server and a Vacation Bible School Youth Leader at Most Blessed Sacrament.
