CHS Students Earn Eagle Scout Rankings
Catholic High students Dillon Walls and Matthew Mistretta have spent countless hours working towards the distinction of earning the title of an Eagle Scout. Only one in 99 scouts achieve this rank. Beginning at the age of 11, the scouts begin working on the 21 required merit badges needed to earn the rank, as well as completing a service project for a non-profit organization to demonstrate leadership, in order to become an Eagle Scouts by the age of 18.
They join many current and former Catholic High students who have obtained the rank of Eagle.
Dilloní´s Eagle Scout project benefited the garden at University Terrace Elementary School and Matthew’s project benefited St. Vincent de Paul.
Walls and Mistretta are members of Troop 7 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church.
