CHS Students Participate in Cyber Discovery Camp
Six students from CHS traveled to Louisiana Tech to participate in the National Integrated Cyber Education Research Center (NICERC) Cyber Discovery camp from Monday, June 3 to Friday, June 8. The six students who participated were Brendan Hardin, Josh Worley, Joe Stassi, Andr_ Aguillard, David Toups and Brennan Burke.
Throughout the week, the six CHS students worked as a team to compete in various challenges such as robotics, mazes, soccer, cryptographic treasure hunt and putt-putt. Each challenge incorporated several subjects, including architectural design, theater, technology and robotics, political science and security through cryptography. The final challenge on the last day was a storyline presentation followed by a robotics competition.
The CHS team came in second place overall and was awarded $750.
