CHS Students Rank In District Literary Rally
Catholic High School students placed in District Rally Saturday, March 15, at Southeastern Louisiana University.
Those placing first place Matthew Berlinger, Biology II; Robert Brown, Spanish III; Nathan Bush, Algebra II; Stephen Crosby, physical science; Raymond Decuir, chemistry; James Gilbert, world history; Charles Heroman, French III; Bradford Kilshaw, Spanish I; Steven Olsen, Algebra I; James Parks III, calculus; David Sloas, geometry; Steven Spedale Jr., Spanish II; Andrew Stewart, Advanced Math I; David Stewart, Biology I; Joseph Theriot, computer science; and Andre Wiggins, business computer application.
Second place participants were Ethan Beaman, world geography; Haggai Davis III, geometry; Christopher Focht, English II; Alexander Maris, English II; Daniel Nelson, Biology II; Justin Phillips, computer science; Benjamin Silverberg, Advanced Math II; Michael Thomas, calculus; Benjamin Tuminello, business computer application; and Charles Weimer, Algebra II.
Third place participants were Anson Becnel, French III; Eric Bordlee, chemistry; Aaron Cafffarel, World History; Michael Cangelosi, civics; Alexander Kleinpeter, Advanced Math II; Kurt Ristroph, Algebra I; Taylor Sanford, Introduction to Business Computer A; Jonathan Sciortino, French II; James Selent, American History; and Thomas Sparks, Spanish III.
Placing fourth were Jon Bajon, Introduction to Business Computer A; Aaron Brown III, world geography; Scott Malhiet, environmental science; Andrew Mire, French II; Frank Turk, Accounting I; and Kenneth Zielewski, Biology I.
Fifth place participants were Joshua Edwards, physical science; Brett Falgoust, Accounting I; Sean Saxon, Spanish I; Andrew Vincent, French I; and Leonard Williams, free enterprise.
Six place participants were Matthew Daigle, English II; Ryan Landry, American History; and Christopher Sciortino, physics.
Twenty-four students from Catholic High School will now compete at the State Literary Rally.
