CHS Students Recognized at Academic Convocation
Catholic High School recognized students at the Academic Convocation on Thursday, September 16 for their achievements in academic excellence.
First honors certificates and pins were given to students who have maintained a cumulative 3.5 grade point average, and highest honors certificates and pins were given to students who have maintained a cumulative 4.0 grade point average. Special awards were also given to students named National Merit Semifinalists and National Merit Commended, and for achievements at National Latin Exam and State Rally. In addition, nearly 200 students were invited to be inducted in to the National Honor Society.
Scholarship recipients recognized were Haggai Davis ’11, Chandler Rome ’11 and David Stewart ’11 received the Brent David Pecue í´80 Memorial Scholarship and James Selleck 11 received the Jordan T. íÍJordyíñ Rourke í´06 Memorial Scholarship.
