CHS Students Recognized by the Exchange Club of Baton Rouge

The Exchange Club of Baton Rouge recently honored four Catholic High School seniors at their regularly scheduled meetings.  Chase Brouillette, Jeffrey Poche and Joseph Sotile were recognized by the Exchange Club at their April 6 meeting, and Breton Green was recognized at their April 20 meeting.  Faculty/staff members Scott Manning, Mark Messina, Jennifer Thibodeaux and Sherry Brouillette were able to attend one of the meetings in support of these students.

Brouillette and Sotile were among four area students being recognized by the Exchange Club as part of their Youth of the Month program.  Students recognized as Youth of the Month are selected for their high levels of scholastic achievement, community involvement and leadership.

Seniors Green and Poche were presented the A.C.E. (Accepting the Challenge of Excellence) Award by the Exchange Club. This is a yearly award recognizing students who have overcome great physical, emotional or social obstacles and have still managed to perform well in their high school curriculum.

Sotileí´s application will now go on to the state and national level.
