CHS Students Spend Summer Studying in Spain

Catholic High Seniors John Abrams and Zachary Windham studied abroad this summer in Sevilla, Spain at Centro de Lenguas e Intercambio Cultural, established in 1983 and specializes in teaching Spanish to foreign students.  The students spent the month of July in Spain studying with students from around the world, including France, Russia and Japan.

Abrams and Windham attended a month long immersion program which offered classes that focused on reading, writing, oral comprehension and oral expression.  The students also experienced a cultural component through scheduled excursions and by residing with a host family which allowed them to discover the city, the country, as well as, exposed them to Spanish lifestyles.
