CHS Students Travel to Spain
During the Mardi Gras Holiday, 10 students and three faculty members traveled abroad for an exciting exploration of the history and culture of Spain.
Beginning in the capital city of Madrid, CHS traveled south to Toledo, Granada and Seville, visiting iconic monuments left by the Christian and Moorish monarchs of the medieval period. The students and faculty ate tapas, saw a flamenco dance performance, and visited the windmills of Don Quixote fame.
CHS even traveled to the winding streets of Morocco to experience the tastes and sounds of a Moorish bazaar.
The trip was revealing, informative, and has inspired in everyone the desire to become an increasingly connected global citizen.
