CHS Swim Team Gets Focused With Team Retreat

The CHS swim team participated in a one day retreat at St. Stanislaus in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, in a team building and spirituality sharing experience  at the bay. The retreat was led by campus minister Pat Dulaney ’92, junior religion teacher and former golf coach. The focus of the retreat was team building for the upcoming season, but included talks on the rich history of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart, the importance of God in everything we do, and the standard of excellence at Catholic High School, especially athletics.

Activities included prayer and reflection, s’mores around a bonfire, fun time in the pool and the basketball court, sharing meals and personal reflections on life, and planning the 2019 season. Many thanks to the amazing work of Pat Dulaney for putting on a great retreat for the boys and getting our 2019 season off to a great start. Pat does an amazing job connecting with our students on a personal level, while connecting the role of sports to life and the mission of Catholic High School.
