CHS Swim Team Moves Season Record to 4-0

The CHS swim team moved its season record to 4-0 by dominating its last regular season meet at Crawfish Aquatics on Saturday, Oct. 18. The team scored the most points it has ever scored at a swim meet and missed a perfect score by only 7 points. The final scores were:
 
First Place – Catholic High School, 657
Second Place – Brusly High School, 253.5
Third Place – Dutchtown High Swim Team, 248.5
Fourth Place – Walker High School, 217
Fifth Place – St. Michael the Archangel, 64
Sixth Place – St. Thomas AquinasHigh School, 56

The varsity team will next be in action on Saturday, Nov. 1, at the preliminaries for the City Championships at Crawfish Aquatics. The rest of the team will have an inter-squad meet on Saturday, Oct. 25 at the Pennington YMCA on Old Hammond Highway at 7:30 a.m. in conjunction with SJA. The Bears look forward to the preliminaries for the state meet on Saturday, Nov. 21, at Sulphur Parks and Recreation.
