The CHS Swim Team placed first in the Capital City Swim League Meet on Saturday, August 25. The Vociferous Juggernauts defeated Baton Rouge High, Denham Springs, Lutcher, East Feliciana and Walker.

"This swim meet on Saturday was a good starting point for the season. There were several teams there that provided very good competition, and we were happy to perform as well as we did this early in the season. We had some very fast swims, acted like a team, and learned some valuable information that we can utilize later on in the season. A special thanks to the many teachers who attended the meet,’ commented CHS Head Swim Coach Doug Logsdon ’02.

Swimmers who placed first in an event are Neil Tribou, Michael Skapura, Andy Layman, Brandon Nicholson, Peter Henry, Tommy Rothermel, Austin Gerald, Patrick Kemmerly, Gabe Landry, Crosby Jurkiewicz, Bradley Petit and Jonathan Sciortino.
